Dr. Lynnea A. Johnson

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Dr. Johnson brings decades of distinguished academic and leadership experience to her role at Macon Creek. A professor emerita of dentistry at the University of Michigan, Dr. Johnson retired from active faculty status in December 2022 after a career marked by innovation, mentorship, and scholarly contributions. Dr. Johnson earned her B.A. from Morningside University in 1975, followed by her M.A. (1979) and Ph.D. (1993) from the University of Iowa.

Annie Rose

Annie is a seasoned leader and creative visionary whose expertise lies at the intersection of music, spirituality, and community engagement. She is the founder and music director of Harmony, a community service choir based in Ann Arbor. Harmony’s 50+ members offer concerts to residents of senior communities, hospitals, nursing homes, and extended care facilities in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Saline. Mark is a pragmatic visionary and creative problem solver with decades of entrepreneurial experience. He is President of Mi-HQ in Ann Arbor, a collaborative business incubator & accelerator campus with 600,000 sq. ft. of office, wet lab, manufacturing and warehouse space. Industries including life sciences, alternative energy, medical devices, waste to energy, corporate development, and micro electronics all work together in this community environment.

Dr. Kathryn Stieler

ARTISTIC CONSULTANT

Dr. Stieler is currently a Full Professor of Voice and a Faculty Fellow in the Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center at Grand Valley State University. She has served on the faculty of Interlochen Summer Arts Camp Vocal Soloist Studies Program, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and the Opera Theatre of St. Louis Summer Training Camp for Young Artists.

Steve has over 25 years experience in residential, commercial and development projects with a particular interest in rehabilitation and reuse of old buildings. He is Vice President at Hobbs+Black Architects.

Sam has decades of experience as a musician and entrepreneur. He holds an MBA from The University of Michigan and is co-founder of The Aurora School of Music in Ohio. He currently serves as Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Progressive Insurance.

Tricia is a master gardener with a strong connection to Macon Township. She works tirelessly year-round to keep our campus beautiful with an eye towards native perennials and pollinator-friendly gardens.
