John brings extensive experience in education and the arts to his leadership role. He serves as Director of Orchestras at Greenhills School, a renowned independent college preparatory school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His conducting portfolio includes leadership positions with The Life Sciences Orchestra at the University of Michigan, the Ann Arbor Youth Orchestra, and collaborations with esteemed ensembles such as the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and the Detroit Civic Orchestras. An accomplished pianist and choral conductor, John has also worked with the Boychoir of Ann Arbor and regional opera companies.

In addition to his contributions to the arts, John is the Founder and Managing Partner of Post Companies, a boutique consultancy that launched its first software-as-a-service application in 2003. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded its offerings across multiple sectors by addressing real-world challenges and supporting organizations dedicated to positive social impact.

John’s commitment to community extends to his role as Director of Music & Technology at St. Clare’s Episcopal Church, where he helps lead the unique interfaith partnership with Temple Beth Emeth known as Genesis of Ann Arbor. This collaboration exemplifies his dedication to building inclusive spaces where shared values and creativity thrive.

A graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory with degrees in economics and piano performance, John earned his master’s degree in orchestral conducting from the University of Michigan. He has served as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washtenaw County, an adjunct faculty member at Wayne County Community College District, and a board member for various non-profits.

John’s entrepreneurial spirit, artistic expertise, and commitment to community-building are at the heart of his leadership at Macon Creek, where he continues to inspire and drive innovation for a brighter future.

Known for her integrity, innovation, and relationship-focused leadership style, Kim is deeply committed to creating impactful programs and fostering collaborative networks.

As Co-Founder of The Hive Project and Macon Creek in southeast Michigan, Kim has co-led the establishment of a 215-acre non-profit organization dedicated to empowering artists, innovators, and entrepreneurs. In this role, she drives strategic planning initiatives that champion creativity, collaboration, and financial sustainability. She also manages infrastructure projects to preserve and enhance Macon Creek’s historic campus, emphasizing community-centric design and environmentally responsible practices. Through her focus on building partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders, Kim continues to expand the Macon Creek network and amplify its reach.

Kim’s leadership experience spans numerous roles, including Partner at Post Companies Communication, where she contributed to business development, digital strategy, web development, and IT support for diverse clients. As Finance Director at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church & The Breakfast @ St. Andrew’s, she ensured fiscal transparency, managed budgeting, and maintained financial controls in alignment with the church’s mission. Her background also includes leading daily operations at an elder care law firm and providing operational strategy and start-up consulting services. Earlier in her career, Kim served as Senior Engineer at Pacific Bell, focusing on fiber network design and software maintenance.

A graduate of Siena Heights University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Psychology, Kim is adept in strategic visioning, community engagement, financial management, and digital communication. She remains passionate about fostering inclusive and creative spaces that promote personal and community growth, reflecting her commitment to sustainability and empowerment within the organizations she serves.

Annie’s musical passion has always centered around singing, choral conducting, and vocal coaching and instruction. Her spiritual drive inspired her to enter the world of the cantorate in her mid-20s, while she was pursuing graduate degrees in vocal performance and conducting at Peabody Conservatory. Her extraordinary musicianship, pastoral care, and profound dedication to spiritual exploration have left an indelible impact on those she has served.

With over 20 years of experience as the cantor at Temple Beth Emeth in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she has dedicated her career to fostering inclusive, inspiring, and deeply connected communities. During her tenure at Temple Beth Emeth, Annie created and directed youth and adult choirs and cultivated a vibrant musical culture. Her adult choir, Kol Halev, grew to 70 members under her leadership, reflecting her ability to inspire and bring people together through music. Annie’s approach integrates Jewish tradition with a deep love of music, helping others find meaning and connection through ritual and cantillation.

Beyond her musical contributions, Annie is renowned for her pastoral care, offering comfort, guidance, and wisdom to congregants during life’s most profound moments. Her compassionate leadership and optimistic outlook have earned her admiration as a trusted advisor and spiritual mentor. Now serving as Cantor Emerita at Temple Beth Emeth, Annie has helped create the Sacred Aging Institute, offering programs and classes designed around the passions and needs of senior members of the congregation.

Annie’s journey as a leader is enriched by her diverse educational and professional experiences. A graduate of Goucher College with additional study at the Peabody Institute and Académie des Beaux-Arts in Fontainebleau, France, she holds advanced degrees in voice, conducting, and music theory.

Now at Macon Creek, Annie channels her passion for creating meaningful, inclusive spaces into fostering a vibrant community that empowers creativity, education, and connection.
