Cecily Donnelly has a BFA degree in painting from The University of Michigan Stamps School of Art, with additional study at Slade School of Art (London) and at various painting and print-making workshops. Her award-winning work is represented in numerous public and private collections in the U.S and Canada. She has spent most of her life in Michigan, apart from a recent almost-decade living in southern Massachusetts. On her return to Michigan, she found excellent studio space and a supportive atmosphere at Macon Creek, and was happy to be invited to show some of her work in the beautiful Hive Gallery.
